Countdown has lost a long-term customer 85 years of age due to penny-pinching on chocolate afghans. I have been shopping supporting Countdown for years but recently (approx last 5 years ) I noticed 6 afghans in a packet went down to 5 afghans & less chocolate in a newly designed packet. Miserable Countdown penny-pinching.
I didn’t like the change as the price was the same but 1 less afghan.
Today I shopped at New World & purchased 9 Afghans for $6.79 in similar sizes & more chocolate on the afghan.
